The Furry Frenzy Story
Originally founded as Sadie’s Dog Time over 15 years ago we became Furry Frenzy Dog Walking & Pet Care in 2011. We are a locally owned independent business. The owner, Autumn Williams, is a life-long animal lover and guardian to 3 rescue cats and a mom to Delilah, a tri-paw Shepard mix, and Rosie, a rescue chihuahua. An advocate for all animals she is also an active volunteer at the Pixie Project, an adoption center in Portland. Furry Frenzy Dog Walking and Pet Care is the realization of a dream to blend her love of animals with her drive as an entrepreneur.
The staff of Furry Frenzy is not only loving and fun but professional, reliable and trustworthy! I wouldn’t consider anyone else!Steve M.
Born and raised in Portland, Colleen’s love and affinity for all creatures great and small has been inherent since her earliest memories. At the age of 3 she declared her ambition to become a tap dancing vet, combining her love of dance and animals. Presently, she’s traded in her tap shoes for sneakers as a dog walker with Furry Frenzy, and has been pet sitting full time since August of 2013. She intends to expand her scope of practice as a pet care professional by studying animal massage therapy, with a focus in canine and equine rehabilitation. Colleen has 2 cats named Ding and Bean, and an extended pack of fur-buddies gained through her pet sitting pursuits.
I love dogs and cats! I would love to hang out with your pooches and take them on walks, hikes, or just spend time with them in the comfort of their own home.
Your dog and I will enjoy exploring parks and trails. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and rodents are awesome too!
I am a native of the Portland area and an avid animal lover. From my grandmother’s many farm pets, to my family’s cats and dogs, to anything furry I found wandering around, I have always had some furry critter at my feet. In high school I babysat just as many kids as I did critters! I was active in FFA with a rabbit raising project. My first job was in a stable. My summer camps where with horses. My volunteer hours where with Cat Adoption Team. I currently enjoy exploring new dog parks with my rescue chihuahua Minnie! I’m looking forward to making new furry friends as I join Furry Frenzy and this great team of ladies!
Alexa is a life-long animal lover from Orlando, Florida. Currently a student of psychology at Reed College, she plans to one day do animal-assisted therapy. She has been surrounded by dogs since the day she was born and has been walking & sitting those of friends, family & neighbors since she was very young. In her free time, Alexa enjoys dining out at vegan restaurants all around Portland, crossing streets to pet cute dogs, and spending time with the love of her life, her Netherland dwarf rabbit, Bowie.
Growing up in a petless house, Shannon has always gravitated towards friends and families pets; even choosing roommates who had dogs over those who didn’t. Shannon loves dogs of all breeds and sizes with her favorites being older pups or those who might need some extra love. A New Jersey native, Shannon loves walking the beautiful streets of her new city and exploring the many parks Portland has to offer, especially with a pup by her side. In her spare time Shannon enjoys reading, listening to music and attending soccer matches.
Marissa has had a deep passion for working with all furry friends since a very young age. Many close friends and family members have come to identify her as a dog-fanatic and is happy to walk or sit any breed or age! In her home town in Illinois Marissa was known to go on long walks with her own family dogs in addition to other friends’ pets as well. She has spent the past four years walking city dogs in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Portland. In her spare time Marissa enjoys reading, crafts, nutrition, and of course petting dogs!
